Wow! No time to relax! Last week you may have heard that our latest record Real Talk leaked, so put it out a month early and is now available at our Bandcamp and iTunes. To recap it is $9 on Bandcamp and it has an exclusive track you can't get anywhere else and you can get our new single "Fantasy Girl" by using that widget above. It's been getting PERFECT reviews from sites like Alter The Press and Punk Like Me that we are very grateful for. But that's last weeks new, here is this weeks news!

Man Overboard is proud to announce the launch of our own label, Lost Tape Collective. We will be releasing quality and creative records by bands and artists that we enjoy and support. The first Lost Tape release will be the Man Overboard "Real Talk" Cassette Tape, limited to 100 copies. Will also be releasing 7"s, CD's and Tapes from artists including Basement (from UK), AYS (from Germany), True Things (ex- I Call Fives), Smile & Burn (from Germany) and History (members of Man Overboard & Bearings).

We will be offering a lot of Name Your Own Price digital downloads (starting at FREE) and inexpensive physical products along with zines, events, merchandise and anything else we dream up and put a Lost Tape logo on. The first releases are as follows

Our Debut LP Real Talk Is Out Right Now And Our New Single "Fantasy Girl" Is Now Free!

Greetings Everyone,
Our debut full length, Real Talk is now available for download, and our new single "Fantasy Girl" is up for free!!! Wait! What? What?!!

You might be asking yourself, "Is it July 20th? Was I asleep for the past month? How is it the release date for Man Overboard's Real Talk?" You haven't been asleep. As many of you may know our record has slipped through the cracks and leaked its way onto to the Internet. MOB and Run For Cover are huge music fans and we know how much it sucks when you want to support a band and buy their music, but some jerk who doesn't love the band half as much as you, is listening to their illegally downloaded copy of a record you want so bad and the only way you can get it, is to illegally download it. Rather than have our fans experience that pain that we go through all the time, we figured we should get it out to those of you who are cool enough to want to support us ASAP. SO! The album is now available for download at our Bandcamp for $9 with an exclusive bandcamp bonus track (not available on the CD/LP or leaked version) titled, "Again." The album will also soon be available on iTunes (it may be there right now, go check!) without the bonus track and of course for more money.

We put our record into a select number of hands that we not only trusted, but who swore they would protect the album until its proper release date. A certain person was either trying to get some n00dz, or pick up a few scene points. To those who we sent the record to and you held it close - thanks a million and we seriously appreciate your dedication, hard work and anything that you have done to help our band. Seriously. And to the person who sent it out to people - Cmon son, you fucked up.

Our Acoustic EP - Noise From Upstairs Is Now Available

We are highly pleased to announce that our acoustic EP, "Noise From Upstairs" is now available digitally on here from Run For Cover Records. The record will be available on iTunes come April 1st. Those who order from bandcamp have the option to pay an extra dollar and have the lyrics mailed to them in a letter... from us! You can get our song "Dylan's Song" by entering your email address above or by tweeting this.

April 16-26, we will be on the road for an acoustic tour with Balance & Composure and A Loss For Words. Our debut full length will also be available through Run For Cover Records (and various other labels world-wide) come June 2010. A demo track from the LP can be heard on the new Run For Cover Records sampler here.

Speaking of that LP! We are ALMOST done recording it. We played the last show of our February tour on February 28th in Philadelphia with None More Black (thanks to all who came) then practiced for a few days and started cutting drums March 5th. We have been at Cannon Found Soundation Studio's in Union City, NJ ever since. Everything is sounding awesome and we could not be more excited to get this record out into the world. Preorder Before We Met - A Collection Of Old Songs And Download "While You Were Sleeping"

Hello Everyone!

We are proud to officially announce that pre-orders for "Before We Met: A Collection of Old Songs" are now available from Panic Records. Before We Met is available on CD, LP and Digital formats. Side A features our 5 song Hung Up On Nothing EP that is now out of print. Side B features 5 unreleased songs. One of those songs is Arlington Drive (which has been featured on our myspace player for a long time) and four other old songs that we recently re-recorded. It comes with mutli-page booklet that has not only lyrics but song explanations written by Nik and Zac.

We are very excited about this release and to be working with Panic Records. We are glad that we finally get to group all of these older songs together on a proper release before we release our debut full length later this year on Run For Cover Records. There are various pre-order packages that should arrive on the release date, March 2nd!

Hello Everyone!
We are back from our East Coast/Midwest tour. It was a blast. Thanks to everyone who came out and showed us a good time. A special thanks to Balance & Composure, Borderland, the Pike family, Jeff/Nick/Run For Cover and anyone else who helped us out or played with us.

We are currently recording a new Acoustic EP that will be released in April on Run For Cover Records. It will be digital only so watch out for it on bandcamp and iTunes! We are really excited about it and you should be too (especially if you like Love Your Friends and Arlington Drive!).

So what does January and February 2010 hold for Man Overboard you ask? This month on top of recording the acoustic record we are rehearsing for our tour in February (dates coming soon) and to record our debut full length in March!
